It is called V8 Supercars Australia. Why can't they just keep it Australian? But if they were to go overseas (apart from NZ / Bahrain), I'd go with Laguna Seca... It is very reminiscent of Bathurst at the dipper...

I chose Mangy-Cours because it's a bit like Phillip Island. You have 2 Low-Speed corners, then the rest are Mid-High Speed corners

Most of them are on V83 and most of them are good. However, I wouldn't mind the V8s as a official round (albeit support catagory) at the Le Mans track!

They'd be forever on the rev limiter... lot of engines blowing up would be on order...

This one's got different corners, and it'd be like a Aus GP race. 8 or so laps

A_H, if you're talking about the big 24 Hour track, there will be no way you could get a race. If it was the bike circuit, then maybe

Re: Next International Round

My review of the circuits:
Laguna Seca: I think they won't have it even though it is on V83. More suited for bikes.
Fuji: The front straight would leave them on the rev limiter forever. Add to that a hairpin downhill approach and it would be chaos for the teams. Also the second stop into the hairpin on the normal circuit, not the GT circuit. That corner is very hard to control.
Monza: It could be an option. It's a Barbagallo like circuit.
Magny Cours: David explained it
Tsukuba: Although it's a great circuit I think its too small and with three tight hairpins would cause chaos.
Brands Hatch: It's a brilliant track but the lap time is similar to Bathurst I think.
Silverstone: The corners are alright from what I saw in a Porsche Supercup race on TV.
Donington: Hmm... The level of wideness is like Bathurst apparently. As on Laguna, more suited for bikes.
Istanbul Park: I'm unsure as yet.
But for now maybe we could wait at least 10 years for another O/S round. Sorry

I really can't explain what Istanbul is so I'll post a picture of it
for your opinion...

How bout Infineon Raceway? The first four corners are like a Dipper in reverse. Or a shortened version of Suzuka.

The many s bends would cause chaos, especially the ones before the last hairpin corner. Also I think a shortened version of Motegi should be in mind as well. I was actually surprised that wasn't in the poll.

I do love racing Istanbul on V83 but I don't think it would suit V8's that much. I think it is too fast and would have them on the limiter for too long.

I think we should have a custom built track just like one I could make on V83 Create and Race, which I got today. It should have the best corners in Australia. And straights

Well if I am really bored I go on paint and make random tracks......

Here is a map of Infineon.....

They would probably use the short version (the grey road)

And here is Suzuka

Too long if you ask me.

Worst comes to worst, you could always race on the west circuit. Only catch is that will the pits on the west side of the circuit be able to cope with 31 cars?
